The chicken nanban, which has been recognized as a tourist heritage in Miyazaki Prefecture, is a local gourmet born in Nobeoka city. First of all, the cooks who learnt to the Western-style shop in the city which was in the 1955-40s were devised. In the birthplace of Nobeoka, there are two strains of a simple chicken that tastes only in sweet and sour, which is typified by “straight Chan”, as well as typical chicken ogura that put tartar sauce on the head of “taste.”
