Nobeoka Furusato Tourism Council to strengthen the acceptance of private accommodation sit-ins

The “Nobeoka Furusato Tourism Council”, organized by 17 private accommodation operators in Nobeoka City, held the Reiwa Annual General Meeting of the City Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise promotion center on July 26.

Fourteen representatives attended the general meeting, and the remaining three submitted a letter of attorney. Prior to the opening, the City Fire Department received special training on fire safety measures in private accommodations, and discussed business reports and financial results for fiscal year 30, and the business plan and budget for the Reiwa year.

Chairman Ando said, “We have been developing our business with national grants since the Heisei Year, and i feel that the subsidies from the prefecture’s agricultural night-night cluster support project swelled to form. However, there is a situation where the guest by the monitor tour is mainly, and it has not been connected to the individual accommodation yet, and i want to promote the activity this year so as to lead to daily stays.”

According to the 30-year business report, in the national agricultural night promotion project, five monitor tours, including international students from Kumamoto University, were conducted to improve the skills of accepting families, and a multilingual website was established in Japanese, English, Simplified, Traditional, and Korean languages. We created pamphlets in Japanese and English and DVDs for sales, and at the Taiwan International Travel Expo, we conducted PR activities in Nobeoka and sales activities to Taiwan’s travel agency.

In addition, the city leased road bikes, developed a new outdoor program and conducted demonstration experiments.

In the prefecture’s agricultural night cluster support project, the first school trip students of Nanzan High-Class Junior High School in Shinbei City, Taiwan, conducted an experience of Japanese culture (tea ceremony), visited ehime prefecture and Kochi Prefecture, held cooking classes using inokameat and venison, We made a luncheon mat that appealed to the charm of Nobeoka at dinner time for private guests.

Reiwa the new year, we plan to accept international students from Oita University in the first year of the year, and to accept international students from Kumamoto University in the first year. In March next year, we plan to hold a senior active tour for the Fukuoka area.

In sales activities and inspection training, we will visit Kumano, Kagoshima Prefecture, Demizu City, Kumamoto Prefecture, and Minami-Oguni-cho, Kumamoto Prefecture, and engage in sales activities to attract educational travel in Osaka, Okinawa, Taiwan, and Shanghai.

In terms of membership growth, we aim for 10 new members.
