We visited Hida Furukawa!

On December 13, 2018, we visited Hida City in Gifu Prefecture for Minpaku-related training. We experienced “Hida Satoyama cycling” conducted by Satoyama experience.

On a guided tour of the life of Hida Furukawa, we went on a bike ride of about 12 kilometers in a distance of two and a half hours.

Hida Furukawa is famous for its historic townscape, which has a traditional machiya appearance, but compared to Hida Takayama, which is known as a tourist attraction, it was a calm and quaint town.

In recent years, the big hit anime movie “Your name is. It became the spotlight as a holy place, but about 80% of the participants of the guided tour are tourists from foreign countries, and about 90% of them are likely to occupy the west.

On this day, we had no worries about snow and the perfect weather for cycling. In addition to the streets, I enjoyed the scenery of the satoyama of Okuhida while taking a leisurely stroll through the surrounding countryside.

In the Nobeoka Furusato Tourism Council, we have several cycling courses in the city, and we plan to have visitors in Japan and overseas experience the life of Nobeoka and the beautiful rural and fishing village scenery. Please look forward to.
