The fishing village ・Kitaura Located in the heart of the port town and close to the expressway interchange, it is ideal for people enjoying the sea leisure.
The owner, Yoshihisa Konishi, has long served as a volunteer interpreter of the prefecture and a director of the Miyazaki Prefecture Singapore Goodwill Association, and many foreigners have stayed at his place so far. His home was built in 1955, and has left the appearance of old-fashioned Japanese house such as large beams.
He is a full-time farmer and you can enjoy a harvest experience at his vineyards in the summer as well as tea picking and harvest of vegetables and so on. You can taste fresh seafoods and locally harvested fresh vegetables.
Since he has abundant experience as volunteer interpreter and boasts welcoming many foreign guests at his accommodation in the past, his reputation of communicating with foreign guests is very high. It locates near the harbor and ideal as a sea leisure base.
Access is splendid, only a minute from the Higashi Kyushu Expressway Kitaura IC. At the nearby Kitaura Rinkai Seapark, there are lots of kind of seafood, and you can enjoy seafood buffet at “Kita-urara-sea market”, charcoal grilling of seafoods such as rock oyster and Hiougi shellfish. There is information office of the Nobeoka Tourists Association as well.
