Food hub ”Kawamachi Koryukan”

Kawamachi Koryukan is food facilities. It is used for Ayu-yana (see below) in its on-season. In its off-season, private company restaurants may use it. You can utilize it as a venue for citizen’s intercommunication through food, for example, an event to introduce food or cooks in Nobeoka.

Alongside of this hub, dry riverbed is ground-leveled beautifully as “Kawamachi Ryokuchi-Hiroba, a green space” and “Kawamachi Koryu-Hiroba, an intercommunication space”, places of relief for citizen. From 1st October to the first Sunday of December, it is opened as “Ayu-dokoro Kokugikan” every year.

[Facility description] A two-story wooden house. Gross floor area: around 539.48m2. 1st floor: Equipped with a large hall (around 112m2, 110-guest capacity), seats at the window with Japanese Kotatsu (small table with an electric heater underneath and covered by a quilt, around 26m2, 30-guest capacity), a “see-through” kitchen which guests enjoy watching cooking, a waiting room, a tourist information, and a bathroom. 2nd floor: Equipped with another large hall (around 79m2, maximum 80-guest capacity), a changeroom, and a bathroom.
