Among the 550 wild birds in Japan, around 300 of them can be seen in the northern section of Miyazaki prefecture.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Observable birds include the Japanese bush warbler, white-eye, meadow bunting, varied tit, cuckoo, shrike, Chinese bamboo pheasant, redstart, blue and white flycatcher, pheasant, owl, bulbul, kingfisher, crested kingfisher, and also endangered species such as the mountain hawk eagle.<\/p>\n<p>Recommended observation spots near Mt. Atago and Mt.
